Beauty Pie Box Number 5

Hi beauties,

Another month another Beauty Pie box! The offering they have is really diverse, I’m a big fan of their makeup products, eyeshadow sticks particularly – they are amazing!

But this month’s choice was Skincare so here is what I got:

  • Plantastic Micropeeling Super Drops
  • Overnight Skin Perfector Gentle Retinol Moisture Balm
  • Super Healthy Skin Purifying Clay Cleanser

I have an allowance of £150 per month at the moment, I find this is just right for me although you can change this if you need to. I love the flexibility of the membership, all it takes is a quick email if you want to reduce your limit.

So keep your eyes peeled for the reviews on these, looking forward to seeing how they stack up!

Till next time,

Beauty Pie Japanfusion Pure Transforming Cleanser

Hi beauties,

Beauty Pie again! Today it’s the turn of Japanfusion Pure Transforming Cleanser.

This is a thick milky gel/balm that turns into an oil and then emulsifies with water into a milk. I love this kind of formula, it’s amazing at blitzing makeup and grime but doesn’t make your skin squeaky.

Japanfusion Pure Tranforming Cleanser is a definite repurchase and one I would recommend for all skin types. You can use it both for AM and PM cleanses and of course for makeup removal. I love the versatility of it, it is absolutely brilliant. £25 for non members, but members pay just £6.58.

Beauty Pie Smart Powder Blush

Hi beauties,

Today is the turn of Beauty Pie again with some makeup, their Smart Powder Blush.

I really like powder blush, it suits my oily skin far more than creme formulas and lasts a lot longer. I’ve only been wearing blush since my late twenties, before then I was very pale! I love to have a blush now and have a whole bag of them.

I got three colours of the Smart Powder Blush:

  • Ring My Bell
  • Daydreamer
  • Go Rouge

There isn’t one colour I prefer to be honest, I love them all. They are lightweight and the pigment is brilliant. You don’t need much, a quick sweep of a blusher brush and you are done!

I hope Beauty Pie come up with some more colours as these are gorgeous and super value for money. Members pay £4.03 while non members pay £18.00. Smart Powder Blushes are great quality and last a long time on the face. Go to http://www.beautypie.com to find out more.

Beauty Pie Box Number 4

Hello beauties,

I’ve got my Beauty Pie Box Number 4 for you today, I’m really enjoying what I’m trialling so naturally I wanted more!

I chose:

  • Japanfusion Pure Transformation Cleanser
  • Japanfusion Hydra Prep Lotion
  • Fruitienzyme Five Minute Facial
  • Super Healthy Skin Daily Vitamin Defense Serum
  • I did try the Fruitienzyme Five Minute Facial and was very disappointed to find that it had exfoliating particles in. I hadn’t read the description properly before ordering! So I only used it once before giving it to a friend, that won’t be reviewed.
  • The other products will be tested as usual and then reviews will be posted in the normal fashion.

  • Beauty Pie Super Retinol Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream

    Hi beauties,

Today I have the Super Retinol Anti Wrinkle Eye Cream from Beauty Pie, I’ve been testing this out for a good few months now so I thought it was about time for a review.

This is a gentle eye cream, and it really packs a punch. An oxymoron you might say, but in my opinions it does exactly that. It contains Retinol micro capsules, Hyaluronic Acid and bioflavonoids to soften lines, moisturise and plump up the eye area.

I find that this is an eye cream which is more of a dry cream. I know that sounds weird, but it’s not a slippery wet texture which if you wear makeup can make mascara collect underneath your eyes. You don’t need a lot, not even half a pump for both eyes. I’ve had mine for months and it’s still going!

I really like this, it’s great to use with and without make up. A good base for concealer too, I like how my lines are softer and there is also brighter effect. For a 15ml size for non members is £65.00 and members pay £6.33. Well worth a try.

    Till next time,

Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin Daily Vitamin Defense Serum

    Hi beauties,

I’ve been buying from Beauty Pie for quite some time now and have amassed quite a collection of products. The first serum I tried was the Super Healthy Skin Daily Vitamin Defense Serum.

This serum is for anyone who is concerned with fine lines and wrinkles, pollution, and dehydration. It’s a one stop shop for antioxidants, Super Healthy Skin contains Superox C which comes from the Kakadu Plum to fight free radicals and improve radiance.

Super Healthy Skin has a really light silky texture, sinks in easily and makes your skin feel so soft afterwards. It’s soothing as well as hydrating, my skin really likes this serum. It’s a pleasure to use and doesn’t have an overpowering scent to it. It’s light and fresh and doesn’t linger. It works well underneath moisturiser, with other serums and with oils too without the dreaded pilling. My skin always felt more plump and hydrated after use.

Super Healthy Skin is £10.24 for members and £80 for non members. I would buy this again, I have two other Beauty Pie serums so I’m interested to see how they stack up against this one. For details of how to join Beauty Pie go to http://www.beautypie.com.

    Beauty Pie Liquid Lipsticks

    Hi beauties

Today I have some Beauty Pie makeup with their lip colours. I’m sure you all know of my love of Matte Liquid Lipstick, they are my favourite textures.

I thought all 4 were Matte however the bottom two are gloss types. The colours I went for are:

    Fantasticolour Liquid Lipstick in Winner

Fantasticolour Liquid Lipstick in Charm Inc

3D Shine Liquid Lipstick in Electric Currant

3D Shine Liquid Lipstick in Toasted.

The two matte shades are my favourites, the 3D Shines aren’t really for me but that’s my mistake. They do wear quite well but not as well as the matte formulas. There are a couple of other shades I want to get so as soon as I get my allowance I am sure I will add those to my collection.

Prices are £4.54 for the matte shades for members £20.00 for non members, 3D Shine Liquid Lipstick is £3.46 for members or £20.00 for non members.

Even those the 3D Shine’s wouldn’t be my first choice I have enjoyed wearing them, pigment in both formulas are amazing and really do cover well. Most importantly comfortable to wear, I definitely want more!

    Till next time,
