Oskia Renaissance Mask

Hi beauties,

Today I have a brand I haven't used before, Oskia London and their Renaissance Mask. Oskia was created by Georgie Cleeve, who was a food journalist who was introduced to the mineral MSM by her father who recommended it for the use in repairing racehorses joints. Georgie sustained serious cartilage damage in her knees due to a skiing accident. She found a remarkable response to the MSM, repairing her joints in a way her surgeons did not think was possible. A side effect of the mineral was a major improvement to the symptoms of her acne, eczema and providing benefits to her hair and nails. Georgie then began training in dermatology, physiology and skincare and after extensive research Oskia was launched in 2009.

The Renaissance Mask is a brightening and resurfacing mask designed to increase cell turnover, boost radiance and gently exfoliate fruit acids from Passion Fruit, Grape, Lemon and Grapefruit. The mask includes MSM with Swiss Garden Cress Liposomes (which reduces melanin production by 47%), Lactic Acid, and Prebiotics.

The mask is a gel texture that you spread over your skin, then massaging into the skin until it turns white. This is to activate the ingredients and also lets you know that it has been applied correctly. You then leave the mask for 10-20 minutes (sensitive skins should start off by leaving it for 10 minutes initially). Before removing, splash your face with water to turn the mask into a milk, activating the second phase, once this has happened rinse off with water.

I love Renaissance Mask, it smells absolutely beautiful with scents of rose, passion fruit and chamomile that makes it very pleasurable to use. I find it easy to use, apply, massage and then relax for 20 minutes. The results from this are brilliant. My skin is clearer, smoother and looks noticeably brighter. Because of all my pigmentation I do find it hard to notice differences in the appearance and brightness of my skin. Also my skin is left feeling moisturised and comfortable so not stripping my oily skin. This is one of the best exfoliating and radiance boosting treatments I have ever tried, but unfortunately there is a downside. The cost for 50ml is £49.50 and that's pretty much out of my price range. However, saying that it is really fantastic mask so it would be one of those extravagances I would have to save up for as the results for me are that good. You can get it from http://www.oskiaskincare.com.

Till next time,

Lucy xxx

      1. Hate it when you fall in love with an expensive product. That is why I love a beauty box though otherwise I wouldn’t be able to add to try half of the products I’ve been able to x
