Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Wash

Hi beauties,

Today is the budget Cleanser Deep Action Cream Wash from Clean and Clear. I bought it on a whim when I was browsing in Superdrug one afternoon. I was looking for a Cleanser that had salicylic acid in for those times when I get breakouts to try and get rid of them quickly.

I always check ingredients as I want to avoid SLS so I was really pleased to see this didn’t have any in! It can be hard to find high Street cleansers without SLS and mineral oil in so this is a great option.

Deep Action Cream Wash has a lovely creamy texture and while it does say it removes makeup, I personally wouldn’t use it for this purpose. For me it is a morning cleanse or second cleanse in the evening. It also contains menthol which makes your skin feel tingly and fresh after use, if you are sensitive to menthol and essential oils I think it would be best to avoid it.

You only need a pea sized amount, I find it really refreshing in the morning and my skin feels very comfortable afterwards. I didn’t think it would be as good as it is, partly because of the price and these type of cleansers do have a reputation for being harsh. It’s very enjoyable to use, I don’t use it every day, about 3 times a week and it works for me well. I bought mine from Superdrug for £3.25 and it’s a 150ml in size so it would last a good amount of time.

If you have oily skin and are looking for a cleanser that will help with those pesky breakouts this is definitely a good option!

Till next time,

Lucy xxx
